i can’t express how much hearing this means to me. it brings together two people who have moved me, sometimes to tears, sometimes to love, sometimes to loving action, two parts of me i have tried to make commensurable. the first few lines of ‘hallelujah’ are the first tattoo i got when i was 18. btw, i was in your singing as social justice workshop at nolose, but almost wasn’t, for fear. that workshop was therapy.
